This exhibition is organized and toured through OSAC's Art's on the Move touring program. This exhibition features thirteen watercolor painting by Miriam Körner. These works are based on a collaborative project with Bernice Johnson-Laxdal(from the northern Plains Cree of ile-a-la-Crosse area) and are from the picture book they created: When the Trees Crackle with Cold: pîsimwasinahikan.
Inspired by the traditional Cree moon calendar and Bernice's childhood memories of growing up with her thirteen siblings in ile-a-la-Crosse(Saskatchewan's second oldest community); this exhibition celebrates northern Saskatchewan and its people.
