Fireside Stories III Tell the Bees

Dancing Sky Theatre

Dancing Sky Theatre is delighted to present the third in our Fireside Stories series: Tell
the Bees.
We began these outdoor gatherings after the lockdown, as a safe and meaningful way
to bring our community back together through stories, food, and shared experience.
Held in our beautiful outdoor amphitheatre, these evenings invite artists and audiences
to gather around the fire, surrounded by the prairie landscape, to connect, reflect, and
celebrate.
Although we’ve resumed our regular indoor performances, audiences keep asking:
“When will you do another outdoor storytelling night?” We’re happy to say — the time is now!
This event explores the magical, mysterious, and essential world of bees. Bees are at
the heart of our survival, pollinating over 75% of global food crops and supporting
ecosystems across the planet. For thousands of years, they’ve also held a special place
in human imagination - as messengers between worlds, symbols of community and
devotion, makers of food that never spoils, and sources of ancient medicine.
Four Saskatchewan artists will share original works inspired by the diverse array of bee
species that inhabit our region. And, if you wish, Chef Ernie will prepare boxed lunch for
you to enjoy with family and friends.
We invite you to join us at Dancing Sky — bring your loved ones, watch the prairie
sunset, and be part of an evening of stories under the open sky.
