The Art of Preserving

Thursday, Mar 12, 2026 at 7:00PM Repeating event

Humboldt & District Museum

Do you have a raspberry bush that’s a little too ambitious? Is your freezer overflowing with green beans? Then come learn how to preserve your bumper crops and transform them into delicious pickles and jams!

Marie Saretsky will be giving two talks about the basics of preserving fruit and veggies - and no experience is required! Learn what you need to know in order to start small-scale pickling and jam-making at home.

The Art of Pickling - Thursday, March 12 from 7:00-8:00pm
The Art of Jam Making - Thursday, March 19 from 7:00-8:00pm

Both talks will be held at the Museum and are completely free. We encourage anyone who has an interest in preservation to attend! For more information, give us a call at (306) 682-5226 or email info@humboldtmuseum.ca.

See you there!
